Kuhn Residence

Here is one of our favorite collaborations of 2015 and in this case was with Rick Penza and Twelfth Street Studio. This was a custom furniture set for the Kuhn family’s South Tampa residence which included a glass and walnut entry table, a walnut occasional table, a steel vestibule table, a coffee table and a concrete bench. Here are a few of our favorite pieces.

The base of this entry table is solid walnut with slip tenon joinery and is topped with a 66″ diameter piece of star fire glass.

This vestibule table was a collaboration with Rick Penza. It’s inspiration came from a cast aluminum table by Holly Hunt, but not having access or budget for casting we hit the drawing board and designed this piece. Our vestibule table is constructed from 18g hot rolled steel sheets and is cut and welded in our studio in Tampa Florida.

This bench is a beast. It is 12″ x 12″ x 120″ long and weighs 1000 lbs. It took months to make, hours to deliver, 6 guys to move and now rests solidly on two integrated stainless steel legs.
